Fabian & Barny
Fabiano Speziari and Patrizia Barnato, two artists jointing together their lives and uniting in creation, two separate entities with different artistic behaviours who, while maintaining their uniqueness, work on joint projects. "Our minds are a whirlwind of ideas and, while we capture one of them, we make it real, one flies next to us, touching and provoking us. Obviously, it is very difficult to resist temptation ... In our world, nothing comes by chance; it is important to pause and look. Our creations want to be heard and understood. This is our philosophy. We develop our ideas into single pieces or small numbered series. We range from paintings to sculptures, from furniture to installations".

Fabiano Speziari
Graduated in industrial design, Fabiano Speziari didn’t attend any academy or painting course, but developed an early interest in comics, pop art, photography and avant-garde. This led him to experiment different forms of art: drawings, paintings and installations. Speziari loves the full colour and possibly without any shade and his philosophy is the "less is better", minimalist where possible. His artistic research is driven by the relentless pursuit of ideas and, therefore, can be considered, in some way, a conceptual and synthetic artist. Not by chance, he says: "I love to find good ideas, even if it is a difficult thing to do. Often when I think I found one and I take her to bed, in the morning I wake up and I realize that is not what I was looking for! Or rather, as Sol Lewitt wrote: It is difficult to bungle a good idea."

Barnato Patrizia
Mrs. Patrizia Barnato was born in Imperia in September 14, 1975. After obtaining the technical diploma, she chose to become an animator-educator, so she started to work with the elderly. Her journey leads her to express the criticality of life, to explore the issues and people's feelings, exploring the feelings that generate life and death in humans. In the summer of 2009, although self-taught, she started making paintings that reflect the moods linked to big questions of life. One year after, she established a close collaboration with the pop artist Fabiano Speziari, her husband. The two, even if they belong to completely different styles, started with an artistic marriage and create works with excellent results, weaving together the capabilities of both with the name of Fabian & Barny: a human and spiritual journey that leads them to express the charm of art in its colours and its changing shapes.
